2. Start at CloudMySite
- Open cloudmysite.com in your browser.
- In the top menu, go to Products.
- Click Ready to Use Templates.
You’ll now see a big gallery of websites that are already designed for you.
3. Choose a Ready-to-Use Template
On the templates page, you’ll see:
- Many ready-made websites
- Different categories, such as:
- Agency
- Construction
- Services
- And many more
3.1 Preview a Template
- Browse the templates.
- When you see something you like, click Preview.
- The full website opens so you can:
- Scroll through the home page
- Click into other pages (About, Services, Contact, etc.)
- See the layout, images, and sections
🔁 Important:
The topic of the template doesn’t lock you in.
Example:
- If the template is for “Drinking Water”, you can still use it for a trading company, dairy, agency, etc.
You’ll simply change the text and images later.
3.2 View Template Details
Beneath or beside the template, you may see:
- A short description
- What’s included in the template
- Any notes on setup
This helps you understand what you’re getting before you launch.
4. Pick a Plan (Free vs Paid)
Once you’ve chosen a template, you’ll see the plans for that template.
4.1 Free Plan (Ignite / Starter-type plan)
The 100% free plan typically includes:
- ✅ Free
*.cloudmysite.netdomain - ✅ Free hosting
- ✅ SSL security
- ✅ Website builder (visual editor)
- ✅ Images included in the template
- ✅ Ability to use Genie AI to edit sections
- ✅ No commission on what you sell (CloudMySite doesn’t take a cut)
This is perfect if you want to start quickly with no cost.
4.2 Paid Plans (Business / Premium, etc.)
Paid plans may include:
- 📧 Business email (e.g., [email protected])
- 📩 Fully working contact forms (customers can submit and you get an email)
- 💾 Continuous backups & version control
- 📊 Statistics/analytics for your website
- 🌎 Your own custom domain
- 🧾 Payment configuration (take payments online more easily)
You also have an option for:
- 🛠️ Done-for-you websites – CloudMySite builds and configures it for you at a very low cost compared to a traditional web agency.
- You raise a support request
- Explain what you want
- The team builds the site and can add pages when needed
📝 Even if you are non-technical, the free plan + editor is designed so you can do everything yourself.
5. Create Your Free Website
- On the plan selection screen, choose the free plan (for example, “Ignite”).
- Enter your email address.
- Sign up / log in.
After logging in, you’ll see a page to launch your website:
- Click the button to start or launch your website.
- The system will:
- Create your site
- Assign a free
*.cloudmysite.netdomain - Set up hosting, SSL, and CDN
This usually takes a few minutes.
You’ll see a status update while your site is being prepared.
6. View Your New Website
Once your website is ready:
- On the dashboard, find your site and click Open or Preview.
- Open it in a new browser tab.
You’ll now see your live website, using your free CloudMySite domain (for example:
https://something.cloudmysite.net).
You can:
- Click through all the pages (Home, About, Services, Contact, etc.)
- Imagine how your business fits into this layout (we’ll customize it next)
💡 Later, as a business owner, you can upgrade your plan and:
- Add your own custom domain (e.g., milkywaydairy.com)
- Get business email and contact forms
7. Go to the Website Dashboard
From CloudMySite:
- Go back to your Dashboard.
- Find the section for your website (such as Web Pages plan).
You’ll see icons like:
- 📊 Analytics – see visitors and stats (paid plans).
- ⬆️ Upgrade Subscription – move to a paid plan.
- ⚙️ Configure Website – settings for your site (many are paid features).
- 🧩 Website Builder / Edit your website – opens the visual editor.
Click Edit your website or Website Builder.
8. Get Comfortable with the Website Editor
When the editor opens, you’ll see:
-
A left panel with:
- List of pages (Home, About, Contact, etc.)
- Buttons to create new pages
- Options for AI page creation
-
A main preview area in the center:
- This shows your website exactly like it appears to visitors.
- You can click directly on text, buttons, and images to edit them.
-
A right side or top area (depending on layout) with:
- Style/Settings (colors, backgrounds, etc.)
- Layers panel (a simple list of sections & elements on the page)
You can also:
- Minimize the side panel to see more of your page.
- Switch between pages using the pages list.
🧑💻 You do not need coding.
Everything important is done by clicking, typing, and using panels.
9. Edit Your Header & Menu
Let’s start with the header (logo + navigation menu), as shown in the demo:
- Click on your logo text (for example, it might say the template’s default brand).
- Type your own brand name, e.g. “Milky Way”.
- If there are link settings for the logo, you can click those and adjust where it points (usually the home page).
To change the menu items:
- Click on a menu link (e.g., “About”, “Services”, etc.).
- Type your new label (for example, change “About” to “Distribution” or “Farmers”).
- Look for link settings (often a small link/icon button) and:
- Point it to the right page (e.g.,
/farmersor the existing page you want).
- Point it to the right page (e.g.,
- Repeat for each menu item you want to rename.
You can also change:
- “Follow us” text → “Social media”
- Social media links → add your own URLs (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
✨ Any non-technical user can do this:
- Double-click text → type new words
- Click on a link/icon → adjust settings
10. Edit the Look & Style (Colors, Backgrounds)
The editor also has a Layers and Styles section.
- Layers = a list of parts of the page (sections, rows, columns, text, images)
- Styles = where you change colors, backgrounds, spacing, etc.
Example (from the demo):
- Open the Layers panel.
- Click on the section you want to change (for example, the header background, or a statistics block).
- In Styles:
- Find Background or Decoration.
- Choose a color (e.g., change the background to red or your brand color).
- The change applies immediately in the preview.
You do not need to understand technical words like “div” — just pick the section in Layers and adjust colors, text, or images.
11. Save vs Publish (Very Important)
In the editor you’ll see options like:
- 💾 Save
- 🚀 Publish
Save:
- Keeps your changes inside the editor only
- Good if you want to review with your team before going live
Publish:
- Sends your changes to the live website
- CloudMySite automatically:
- Deploys the site through its global CDN
- Ensures minimal delay for visitors worldwide
After you click Publish:
- It may take around 40 seconds to 1 minute for changes to deploy.
- Then you can refresh your live website tab and see the latest version.
✅ You can save often, and publish when you’re satisfied with the changes.
12. Edit the Home Page (Text & Images)
Now let’s edit the main (index/home) page:
- In the pages list, select Index or Home.
- In the hero (top) section:
- Click the image (e.g., a cow for a dairy site).
- Choose Edit image or similar option.
You can:
- 🔍 Search images (e.g. search for “dairy”)
- ⬆️ Upload your own image
- 🧠 Use AI-generated images you previously created with Genie
Once you select a new image:
- Click Use / Apply (wording may vary).
- The image on the page updates.
You can also change:
- Headline text (e.g., “15 years” → “5 years” if you’re a younger company).
- Descriptive text about your business by double-clicking the text and typing.
13. Use AI (Genie) to Rewrite a Section
If you don’t want to manually write text, you can let Genie AI help.
Example from the demo:
-
Select the section you want to rewrite (e.g., “About us”).
-
Look for an option like “Edit with AI” or “Change section with AI”.
-
A prompt box will appear. Write a detailed description, for example:
“Change this section to have good text about Milky Way, a dairy company based in Eastern Nigeria.
We have been in business for 5 years, serve the whole country, and have expanded internationally.” -
The more details you give, the better the AI text.
-
Click Submit.
The system will process the request (this can take a little time) and then:
- Replaces or updates the section with new AI-generated content.
- You can still tweak it manually afterward.
⚠️ Tip: If AI generates something you don’t like, you can:
- Undo (Ctrl+Z), or
- Don’t save/publish and try a different prompt.
14. Add a New Section with AI (Cards, Services, etc.)
You can also add brand-new sections using AI.
Example: create a section showing different dairy services.
-
Click on a section near where you want the new one.
-
Choose “Add section with AI”.
-
In the prompt, describe what you want, for example:
“Create a new section with six cards showing our dairy services such as cottage cheese, protein, and four other products.”
-
Choose whether the section should appear above or below the current one.
-
Click Submit.
AI will:
- Generate a new design (sometimes a carousel or card layout).
- Fill in titles and placeholder text.
If you accidentally selected only a small part of the section instead of the full block, the result might look odd. In that case:
- Undo (or leave without saving).
- In the Layers panel, select the whole section, and try again.
15. Fix or Replace a Section (Undo & Delete)
If AI creates a section you’re not happy with:
- You can delete it:
- Click inside the section.
- Use Delete/Remove (trash icon or context menu).
- Or you can undo:
- Use Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z or the editor’s Undo button.
- Or simply exit without saving, and your live site stays unchanged.
In the demo, the testimonial AI section wasn’t ideal at first, so it was deleted and recreated with a better prompt.
16. Edit the Footer (Global Across Your Site)
The footer shows on every page (unless a template overrides it), so it’s important to customize.
-
In the pages list or a special selector, choose Footer.
-
Click on:
- Address text – update it (e.g., “Maharashtra, India” and your full address).
- Business hours – update as needed.
- Copyright text – e.g.,
Milky Way – All rights reserved 2026.
-
Delete any extra text you don’t need.
-
Save so it applies everywhere.
♻️ Because the footer is global, once you publish, it updates across all pages.
17. Edit the Contact Page
The Contact page is important so people can reach you.
-
Select the Contact page in the editor.
-
Change:
-
Headings (e.g., “Contact Us” text)
-
Address (city, state, country)
-
Phone number
-
Additional instructions, such as:
“Please reach out for any information…”
-
-
The contact form itself:
- The form design is already there.
- For it to send emails to you, you’ll need to upgrade your plan.
- After upgrading, you can configure:
- An API key (handled in settings)
- Your business email
This gives you:
- Professional-looking contact flow
- Secure, end-to-end email delivery for inquiries
But even on the free plan, you can still show your contact details directly (phone, email text, etc.).
18. Create a New Page with AI (Example: Terms & Conditions)
You can create a brand-new page (like Terms & Conditions, FAQ, Privacy Policy) in a few clicks.
18.1 Create the Page
- In the editor, go to the list of pages.
- Click New Page.
- Give it a name, for example: “Terms and Conditions”.
- Choose the page type as something like Content.
The page type helps AI decide what kind of layout and text to create.
18.2 Describe the Page for AI
In the “AI description” or prompt box, write as much detail as you can.
Example (adapted from the demo):
“Create a nice Terms and Conditions page for Milky Way, a dairy producer and worldwide distributor.
The language should work for India and international investors.
We ship and redistribute our products globally.”
The more detail you provide:
- The better the structure of the page.
- The more relevant the clauses it generates.
Click Submit and wait a bit. The page will be generated for you.
⚠️ Important: AI-generated legal text is a starting point.
Always have a qualified legal professional review any Terms & Conditions or policy pages.
18.3 Review & Adjust
- Click Edit on the new Terms & Conditions page.
- Read through the headings and paragraphs.
- Tweak any text that you want to personalize.
- Click Preview to see how it will appear to visitors.
19. Generate a Custom Image with Genie AI
On the Terms & Conditions (or any content) page, you can generate a custom AI image instead of using a stock one.
-
Click on the image you want to change.
-
Choose Edit Genie Image or similar.
-
Copy the dimensions shown (e.g., width x height in pixels).
- It’s recommended to use the same size so it fits nicely.
-
In the prompt, describe what you want, for example:
“We manage product usage and quality.
Create an image that represents milk product quality and usage, with size 1200×400 pixels.” -
Click Generate.
Wait a bit while the AI creates the image. Once ready:
- You’ll see the new image preview.
- Apply it to the page.
You can reuse the same image in multiple spots if needed.
💡 Good prompts and correct dimensions make the page look polished and professional.
20. Link Your New Page in the Footer
After creating a page like Terms & Conditions, you should add a link to it in your footer.
-
Select the Footer page again.
-
Find the text that should link to your new page (e.g., “Terms and Conditions”).
-
Change the link to the correct path, e.g.:
terms-and-conditions.html- or the route shown in your editor when you created the page.
-
Save the footer.
Now, every page that uses this footer will show a clickable Terms & Conditions link at the bottom.
21. Regenerate the Testimonial Section with AI
In the demo, the testimonial section was improved using AI.
To do something similar:
-
Go to the Testimonials page or section.
-
If there is a section you don’t like:
- Select the whole section (use the Layers panel to select the section, not a tiny part).
- Delete it.
-
Click Add section with AI.
-
In the prompt, describe what you want. For example:
“Generate a testimonial section for Milky Way with six testimonials.
Each testimonial should be in a card with scrolling and a responsive layout.” -
Click Submit.
The editor will:
- Build a new section with testimonial cards.
- Often add hover effects and responsive layout (works on mobile & desktop).
You can then:
- Change the names, quotes, and images of each testimonial.
- Use Genie images or search for “user” icons/photos to represent customers.
📸 If you use user images:
- Make sure the resolution is appropriate.
- Or ask AI in the prompt to include icons instead of photos.
22. Publish All Changes
Once you’re satisfied with:
- Header & menu changes
- Home page text and images
- Testimonials section
- Footer (address, year, links)
- Contact page content
- New Terms & Conditions page
Do a final publish:
- Click Save on any pages that show unsaved changes.
- Click Publish.
The system will:
- Deploy your changes to the global CDN.
- This usually takes 40 seconds to 1 minute.
Then:
- Open your live site (or refresh if you already have it open).
- Confirm:
- Menu items are updated.
- Home page image and text are updated.
- Testimonial cards appear and look good.
- Footer shows your address, copyright, and Terms & Conditions link.
- The new Terms & Conditions page opens and displays correctly.
You now have a fully functioning website created in roughly 10 minutes, using:
- Ready-to-use template
- Visual editor
- AI for content and images
23. Documentation, Help & Support
If you ever get stuck:
- On CloudMySite, go to the Documentation section.
- You’ll find guides on things like:
- Changing favicon and logo
- Editing footer menu
- Updating text and images

- From the dashboard, click Support.
- Open a support case.
- Describe:
- What you were trying to do

24. Upgrading, Custom Domains & Payments
When you’re ready to be more professional:
- Go to Web Pages in your dashboard.

- Click Upgrade Subscription.
You can choose plans such as:
- Business Plan
- Basic Plan (name may vary)
After upgrading, you can:
- Configure business email
- Enable and wire up contact forms
- Connect payments
- Pick your own custom domain, using popular endings like:
.com.org.net.click- etc. (subject to availability and inclusion)
