SMS Verification Not Working

SMS verification is required before a transfer phone can receive live transfer calls.

Check The Number

Use a mobile number in international format:

+1 972 555 9876

Landlines, VoIP numbers, blocked numbers, or numbers that cannot receive SMS may fail.

The SMS consent checkbox must be selected before sending a code. Consent covers one-time password and account verification messages requested for the setup.

Check Timing

Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. If the code is old, send a new one and use the newest code.

Check The Phone

On the receiving phone:

  • disable do not disturb temporarily
  • check blocked contacts and spam folders
  • confirm there is cell service
  • confirm SMS works from another sender
  • wait a minute before resending

Common Errors

If the dashboard says the code is invalid, check that you entered all 6 digits from the newest message. If the dashboard says the number is missing, save the transfer phone first.

Contact CloudMySite support if multiple verification attempts fail. Include the transfer phone, setup name, and approximate time you requested the code.
