Voice And Avatar Setup

Voice settings control how callers experience your AI Receptionist. Choose a name, voice, tone, greeting, and fallback behavior that match your business.

Receptionist Name

The receptionist name is what the AI may use in the greeting. Many businesses use a simple name such as "Ava" or "AI Receptionist." Choose something professional and easy to understand over the phone.

Voice Selection

CloudMySite includes voice samples such as Joanna, Matthew, Ruth, Stephen, Danielle, Gregory, Salli, Kimberly, Kendra, Kevin, Justin, Joey, Ivy, Amy, and Brian. Each sample lists language and voice style.

Before saving, play the sample audio. A voice that sounds good in a short preview is usually a better choice than one chosen only by name.

Tone

Available tones can include:

  • warm and professional
  • friendly and concise
  • calm and formal
  • upbeat and helpful

Use warm and professional for most small businesses. Use calm and formal for medical, dental, legal, finance, or high-trust services.

Greeting Message

The greeting should be short and clear:

Thanks for calling Brightside Salon. This is Ava. How can I help you today?

Avoid long menus. Callers should quickly understand that they can ask a question, leave a message, or request help from a person.

Avatar

The dashboard avatar is a simple visual identifier for the setup. It usually uses the receptionist name or initials. It helps your team recognize the setup when managing multiple AI Receptionists.
