Phone Number Verification

Phone number verification helps prevent accidental or unauthorized call transfers.

Transfer Phone Verification​

Before live transfer calls use a transfer phone, CloudMySite requires SMS verification.

The flow is:

  1. Enter the transfer phone number.
  2. Confirm SMS verification consent.
  3. Send the verification code.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code.
  5. Save the verified transfer settings.

Codes expire after 10 minutes. Transfers stay disabled until verification succeeds.

Current Business Phone Number​

The current business phone number is the number customers call today. You should only configure a number you own, lease, or are authorized to manage.

CloudMySite does not change this provider account for you. You manually set forwarding with your provider.

AI Number​

The AI number is assigned to your CloudMySite setup. Use it as the forwarding destination, not as your public number unless CloudMySite support advises otherwise.

Security Tips​

  • Verify transfer phones before activation.
  • Remove old transfer phones when staff changes.
  • Keep the AI number private unless you intentionally publish it.
  • Turn off forwarding if you cancel or pause the service.
