Business Basics Knowledge

Business basics are the short facts callers often need before they ask detailed questions.

What To Include

Add:

  • business address or service area
  • whether appointments are required
  • parking or building entry notes
  • languages commonly supported by staff
  • delivery, pickup, or mobile service area notes
  • best way to request follow-up
  • any caller expectations, such as bringing an ID or order number

Example

Brightside Salon is located at 123 Main Street in Plano. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are accepted when a stylist is available. Free parking is available in front of the building.

Keep It Short

Business basics should not become a full brochure. Put services, FAQs, policies, and pricing in their own sections so the AI can find the right answer more easily.

Good Uses

Use business basics for caller context:

  • "Where are you located?"
  • "Do I need an appointment?"
  • "Do you serve my area?"
  • "Where should I park?"

If a question needs exact service, price, or policy language, add a dedicated knowledge card in the matching section.
