SMS Notifications

SMS is used carefully in AI Receptionist. The most important SMS flow is transfer phone verification.

Transfer Phone Verification SMS​

Before a phone number can receive live transfer calls, CloudMySite sends a one-time verification code to that mobile number.

The user must:

  1. Enter the transfer phone number.
  2. Check the SMS consent box.
  3. Send the verification code.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code.
  5. Save the verified transfer settings.

Codes expire after 10 minutes.

The SMS consent text explains that CloudMySite AI Receptionist may send one-time password and account verification text messages when requested for sign-up, login, or account security verification. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message Alerts​

Some plan or workspace settings may provide message notifications or summaries. If SMS alerts are available for your account, only use phone numbers that are authorized to receive business notifications. Otherwise, use the dashboard and email summaries for follow-up.

Troubleshooting SMS​

If a verification text does not arrive:

  • check the phone number format
  • confirm it is a mobile number
  • check blocked messages
  • wait a minute before resending
  • make sure the consent checkbox is selected
  • contact support if repeated attempts fail
