Do I Need To Change My Public Phone Number?

No. Customers can keep calling your current business phone number. You manually forward that number to the AI number assigned by CloudMySite.

What Is The AI Number?

The AI number is the CloudMySite/Amazon Connect forwarding number assigned to your AI Receptionist. It is the destination your current business phone number forwards to.

Who Sets Up Forwarding?

You do. CloudMySite provides the AI number, but your current phone provider controls forwarding on your current business phone number.

Does The AI Answer From My Website Automatically?

No. Imported website or file knowledge is saved as a draft first. You must review and approve the sections before the AI uses them on live calls.

What Happens If The AI Does Not Know An Answer?

The AI should not guess. Depending on your settings, it can ask again, take a message, transfer to a verified phone, or end politely.

Can The AI Transfer Calls To Me?

Yes, if call transfers are enabled and the transfer phone has been verified by SMS code. Transfers stay disabled until verification is complete.

Can I Use It Only After Hours?

Yes. Set call mode to After-hours only if you want the AI to answer outside your listed hours.

How Do I Test Before Going Live?

Call the AI number directly first. Then forward your current business phone number to the AI number and call your current number from another phone.

Why Is My Transfer Phone Not Working?

Check that the number is in international format, can receive SMS messages, has been verified, and is not blocking forwarded or unknown calls.

Where Do I See Calls?

Open the AI Receptionist dashboard and view Call History and Usage. New setups may show no calls until the AI number starts handling traffic.
