Forward RingCentral Calls To AI Receptionist

Use this guide if your current business phone number is handled by RingCentral or RingEX.

RingCentral can forward calls to an external number through call handling, forwarding rules, or admin-managed user settings depending on your account.

Setup Steps

  1. Copy the AI number from CloudMySite.
  2. Call the AI number directly to test the receptionist.
  3. Sign in to RingCentral.
  4. Open the user, extension, number, or call queue that receives your business calls.
  5. Find Call Handling, Forwarding, Incoming Call Rules, or Forward all calls.
  6. Add the AI number as an external forwarding destination.
  7. Save the rule.
  8. Call your current business phone number from another phone.
  9. Confirm AI Receptionist answers.

Business Hours Or After Hours

If you only want AI Receptionist after hours, set the RingCentral schedule or rule to forward after-hours calls to the AI number. If CloudMySite call mode is also set to after-hours only, make sure both schedules match.
